WHAT IS CRM INTEGRATION ?

CRM applications capture invaluable details about prospects, opportunities, and relationships for firms' sales and marketing teams. In order to maintain and build upon that data, integration of the CRM with 3rd parties such as SEI is essential. SEI’s objective is to leverage its API platform to provide CRM integration whether that CRM is Salesforce, Backstop, or a proprietary application, arming sales and marketing teams with real-time data for their clients, prospects, and relationships.

HOW IT WORKS

Integration

STEP 1

 Assess your CRM’s integration options:

Does it require flat file integration?

Does it allow for white labeled versions of the application or customized development?

What type of data is required?

Is the integration one way or two way?

How frequent would you like data refreshed? Scheduled or real- time?

Work with SEI on your API security configuration.

Common CRM security setup is with an SEI issued certificate using

Mutual Transport Layer Security (TLS) and this can be completed as part of the App Registration process, selecting application type = “Client/Server”

Configure your APIs and map identified data points for the integration.
